It's often noted that the creative community is like a family, but few times is this is this more true than when local artists, musicians and others come together a cause.
This will be the case Dec. 10 at Suck Bang Blow Four Corners as The Elite Company hosts "La Familia" a benefit to raise money for local artist Michael "Crackie" McDonald and his girlfriend Brittany Riddle who has been recently diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and is currently undergoing treatment.
In addition to direct help for the family, organziers hope to raise awareness of the disease with The American Cancer Society will be on hand to help educate guests about this Leukemia and how people can can involved with fighting it.
This FREE, all-day event will run from 10 a.m. to midnight and will feature a number of activities and exhibitions including an art show, a custom car and bike show, stunt bike displays and live music by local performers.

In addition to a gallery of "show" art, there will also be a silent auction with pieces donated by artists from the area and beyond.
The car/bike show will be put on by Unreal Creations and there will be a $lO entry fee for each vehicle entered.
Roll-in for the show begins @ 8 a.m. and registration will take place until 2 p.m.
The Stunt bike exhibitions, which take place outdoors at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., will include member of the Myrtle Beach Stunters and will be sponsored by Armadillo Cycles. Dropjaw Magazine will also be on hand to cover the event.
There is no cost for admission or parking, but donations are greatly appreciated.
