As many of you know Ocean Drive is always happening, but tonight The City of North Myrtle Beach is getting a little more musical as the OD Pavilion kicks off a free summer concert series called OD Live In The Horseshoe.
The monthly concert event will feature a brand new conglomerate of longtime local musicians playing their first show together. Spider Webb and the Boogie Blues Revue — featuring well-known bluesman Spider Webb, Jaynie Trudell, Charlie Snuggs and a who's who of local players — will perform a free show from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight at the famed horseshoe area of North Myrtle Beach.
The group will not only get back to the root of the Blues, playing past hits that everyone can enjoy, but will also play some danceable Beach and Boogie favorites and even original tunes such as Webb's hit single "Little River Blues" which is currently No. 2 on the Cashbox Magazine charts for Roadhouse Blues and Boogie Singles.
Organizers request that attendees bring their own lawn chair and in case of rain the event will be held inside OD Pavilion.
