We teased it this morning in our Music Monday column and now it's been officially announced that the House of Blues will host a pair of punk acts in April, followed by a famous backing band in May.
WKZQ 96.1 and HOB will present Rise Against with Bad Religion on April 25. The Chicago-based Rise Against will be appearing in support of its sixth album "Endgame" which is scheduled to release in March. Legendary punk act Bad Religion will open the show with a catalog of songs from its 15 albums of material including 2010's "Dissent of Man."
The North Myrtle Beach venue also announced a date for The Wailers who will return to the area May 14 as part of The Uprising Tour with Duane Stephenson. The reggae legends will perform hits from the classic Bob Marley & The Wailer Uprising tour — Marley's last before his death — in addition to other material the band has produced. In addition rising Reggae sensation Stephenson will open the show.
