Following up a year in which he toured relentlessly and released his first live album "Live at The Ryman" Jonny Lang doesn't appear to be slowing down in 2011.
The singer and guitarist will bring his mix of gospel, blues and rock to the House of Blues in North Myrtle Beach on Friday, April 8. The show will also featured Kansas-based roots rock duo Moreland & Arbuckle in support of Lang.
Lang, who first burst onto the national music scene in 1997 at age 16 with his critically-acclaimed album "Lie to Me," has since released three studio albums as well as 2010's live effort. He won a Grammy for "Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album" for his 2006 release "Turn Around" and has had multiple hits with songs such as "Lie To Me," "Still Raining" and "Breaking Me."
His 2011 tour dates kick off Jan. 30 with a show in San Juan Capistrano, CA and continue throughout the end of April with a show in Thackerville, OK April 29. Stops in between include, Charlotte, Austin, St. Petersburg, Orlando and a date at the Mahindra Blues Festival in Mumbai, India in February.
