"Pushing the Limits," a concert featuring Coastal Carolina University artist-in-residence Steve Bailey and Mike Stern along with special guest Jeff Sipe, returns to tonight to CCU'S Wheelwright Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.
Bailey has played with Willie Nelson, Lynyrd Skynyrd and James Moody. He also teaches at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
Stern is a six-time Grammy nominee, and was part of the Miles Davis band. He was nominated for Grammys in 1994, 1996, 2001 and 2006.
Sipe, an American drummer, is a founding member of the Cajun Slamgrass Band and played in the Zambiland Orchestra.
General admission is $10 to $15. CCU alumni, senior citizens (65+), Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) members and teens aged 11 to 17-years-old receive a $5 discount. Children ages 10-years-old and under are admitted for $5. Coastal Carolina University and Horry Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) students are allowed one ticket per valid ID for $5, and University and HGTC faculty and staff are allowed two tickets per valid ID for $10 each.
