There's plenty of frightneningly fun activities hitting the Grand Strand this Halloween weekend, but possibly none more intense than when Method Man and Redman, two of hip-hop's most charismatic veteran rappers who will hit the stage at the House of Blues Saturday.
Doors will open for the show at 8 p.m. with acts beginning at 9 p.m. with Detroit emcee Skully opening. General admission tickets will cost $20 in advance or $23.50 the day of the show, and will be available through Livenation.com, House of Blues Box Office, www.houseofblues.com, Ticketmaster or charge by phone 800-745-3000.
The duo — who gained fame with their groups Wu-Tang Clan and Def Squad respictively — has been performing and recording together for more than 10 years and will return to House of Blues together for the first time since their "How High" tour in 2001.
Since that appearance, each has released multiple solo albums and the duo also put out "Blackout 2" in 2009, a follow up to their classic 1999 collabortaion "The Blackout!" Redman released his most recent album "Reggie" in March with the single "Oh Yeah" and Method Man is scheduled to release a new album called "The Crystal Meth" before the end of the year.
